Has the TSA ever stolen from you?

I was traveling out of San Antonio after visiting my grandparents. My grandfather gave me a Leatherman that he never used. When I arrived at my destination, the side pocket in which the Leatherman was stored was open and the zipper was busted. I know it seems silly to get upset over a $50 Leatherman, but my grandfather gave it to my and I tend to put sentimental value on items that are given to my by family. To top it off they don't make this Leatherman anymore, it was the original first style produced. I really couldn't have avoided it; you can't take knifes onboard aircraft and shipping would have costed money. Honestly any terrorist could take a toothbrush and something to sharpen it with, go into the bathroom, make a shiv, and hijack a plane, so I don't see why I can't take a two inch blade on. Anyone else ever had something stolen by "Taking Something Always"
