If you found out that you had a deadly illness, would you fight for life or just let life overtake you?

I had to think about this one. I can honestly say if the illness involved living the rest of my life tortured in a hospital with tubes and medication and no quality to my life..I would just let the illness overtake me, go home, and live out the rest of my days enjoying the things I love.
