Can I get a restraining order against my sister in law for my sons?

Hi! I have a mentally unstable soon to be ex sister in law. She has made a ton of false claims and allegations against four people in our family(court dates in February). In the meantime, I have a mentally handicapped son and another son who is chronically ill. We have to go to the physicians office every two weeks and she goes to the same place. I am very afraid she would start something with me if she saw us there and my mh son would not understand what would be going on and would get extremely upset and might put him into a seizure. Is there anyway I can protect myself and my sons? Can I get a restraining order or do I have to wait until she threatens me, which I do not want to take that risk with my sons. Any answers are appreciated and we live in Ohio.
