Regarding Parallel circuit connections?

i have an 18 gauge wire connected to a car battery carrying a 12v current. i want to be able to connect that single wire to 3 12v devices that each have their own illuminated on/off switch. if i use wire tap connectors, would i be able to generate enough power to operate all 3 devices by using a parallel connection?
