I'm 20 years old and I still love watching cartoons like Looney Tunes, Rugrats, Batman: The Animated Series, Doug, The Simpsons, Futurama, Hey Arnold, Recess and Spongebob Squarepants. But my dad and older brother sometimes tell me I should stop watching cartoons because they think they're for kids and babies. They think I should watch TV shows like Scrubs or Lost or I ought to watch sports. But I hate watching sports because it's so boring and overrated. I intend to watch cartoons for the rest of my life.

Has anybody seen the film "Triumph of the Will" (1934) on DVD ?

I watched it in a cl in college 4 or 5 years ago. The first thing that anyone watching the film needs to understand is that while it is considered a doentary, it is actually a Nazi propoganda film. Riefenstahl was commissioned to make a film by Nazis, for Nazis, and about Nazis. It was supposed to depict Hitler and the Nazis as heros being welcomed on their trip to the rally. The working cl German people were pulled out of poverty by the government but they were not fully aware of the extent that m genocide was occuring. We followed up the viewing of this film with a Holocaust doentary to show the other side of that time/location. I think it was called "The Fog of War" but it's not the more recent doentary by the same name about Robert McNamara. This one was older and maybe a lesser known holocaust doc. It was black and white with lots of CC footage, very intense.

95 dodge neon no fuel pressure?

i replaced the relay, the car started. then after a while of starting it the car didn'tt start after that. i figured it needed fuel so i added more, and still no start. there is no pressure in the fuel rail but the relay clicks on and the test light comes on (no sound from fuel pump) but im wondering if the fuse isn't bad. it looks burnt but no disconnects and the tester shows its fine. what do you think? fuel pump works but not sure why its not priming. like i said before; started after i changed relay, stopped running, has fuel, test light for fuel pump lights up, new relay, no fuel pressure in rail, curious fuse?

Getting in shape for track?

I'm 5'5 and 110-115 lbs. My time for the 100 meter dash was about a 13:01 when I last got timed and I'm pretty sure I've gotten A LOT slower. I haven't done any physical activity since about March '09 and all I've done since then is eat a lot of junk food. Individual health insurance in Florida for someone with pre-existing conditions??

My husband has high cholesterol (he is only 32) but it is hereditary. He eats right and exercises but is not currently on meds to lower his cholesterol. Neither of our employers offer health insurance. He was recently denied coverage due to no current treatment for the high cholesterol. Does anyone know of a company that would cover him with a pre-existing condition and with already being denied by one company? We live in Florida. He will be starting cholesterol lowering meds soon. Do I really need to get the Guardasil injection?

One doctor i talked to said i need to get it immediatly, even though i'm not ually active, but another said that i could wait until college, or even later. Ever since I was a child, I have found one person and become absolutely infatuated with her. I'm a girl, and it has always been a girl close to my age. It is also always someone I know. I'm learning about the wycliffe bible. Before him, bibles and the catholic m were in latin. Long story short, making the bible understandable by everyone undermined the power of the church and king. i like neutrogena. i have bad acne. so first i prime with neutrogena healthy skin face lotion spf 15 then I apply one nice even coat of healthy skin liquid makeup with a liquid brush. After it sits for a moment I then go over every zit with the skinclearing blemish concealer. Then i seal everything in place with the healthy skin pressed powder. i dont brush the powder across my face i just press it on so i dont uncover anything i concealed. Blush and bronzer are easy they come in one packet and i swipe my blush brush through it and swirl it over my cheek bones. oh its the healthy skin custom glowblush & bronzer. normally i would do my eye make up first btw. okay base with revlon satin eye shadow in nude slip and uses rich sable in that crease in you eye lid for i slight shadow then apply cover girl perfect blend eyeliner in black along the upper and lower lashes. I then go over that line in revlon perle eye shadow in black galaxy. Oh i have a wide eyeshadow bush for the base then a liner brush for the black and then i use the base brush again to apply sunlit sparkle in the corner of my eyes. Use lashblast fusion mascara. first i wiggle it on from root to end twice then once with a big sweep so they are extra long. and then im good to go!

Sorry for being gone for so long...?

I guess for my friends that I should explain that our old house that we were using for storage burnt to the ground. I have been dealing with the insurance since then. It has not been fun to say the least. I cannot even put into words the pain that and heartache that this has caused. a "friend" that i use to have used my name when she got arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store...when i use to stay with her she got access to my temporary california id and used it when they asked her for id at the police station...she had priors on her record that from '93 and '95...i was a minor...a mutual friend told me about what the "friend" had done so i went to court to clear it up...the judge issued me a judicial clearance indicating the arrest warrant wasn't for me and he reissued it in her name, but now that i'm in florida and looking for a new job my name still comes up as having a warrant out for my arrest with two priors when it's actually for her...i had the superior court send me some doentation indicating the warrant was rereleased in her name...my name won't be cleared until she's caught and i have no idea where she is....does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to explain to employers that i'm not an exconvict?

98 honda prelude, recently noticed it had some soot buildup and now i find it has a light bit smoke coming out?

Once upon another time, I had a 1650 sq/ft home and it used an electric furnace to heat the house. It employed 15Kw (3 5Kw strips within the forced air housing). Using these two examples, I can derive that I am using 64 BTU's per square foot currently and formerly was using 9 Kw per square foot in the other house. You might try the formula to see if your heated space (square feet in air conditioned space) times 9 Kw yields anything that sounds plausible.

My parents really do dote on my toddler. But sometimes they can go to extremes. Building A Low Profile Deck?

I am building a deck approx 20 x 20'. The door going into the house is only 3-4" above grade, so I have trenched the 2 x 8" x 10' joists into the ground about 5" at 16" O.C. with 2 x 10" x 10' beams attached to post footings (concrete sono tubes 48" below grade) located 10' and 20' away from the house respectively. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I now want to attach the ledger to the house. Will frost heave push the deck up and eventually tear the ledger away from the house?

the army will build up your self confidence and make you believe in your self. you can join the army at 17 with parents permission which is always an option. when you enlist they only feed you what you need and you loose weight like crazy. my husband was in ait and bct for 16 weeks total and came back 50 lbs lighter. you dont have to be the weight they want but you do have to make tape. meaning you have to be under 26% body fat percentage. you will loose your social anxiety issues immediatly after you live with you "brothers" in the barracks. the main thing they stress on is cardio. run, walk, swim... etc. work on push ups now or atleast stregthening your arms, same with sit ups. when my husband left he could only do 10 push ups and now he can do 200 without an issue. as for eating habits you gotta use common sence there and eat better. i can tell you for sure when you leave for basic you will be eating rice and chicken religously. the brownies and fries will not be an option.good luck to you. the military is a great thing for people to do who dont have a set path else where. and i can tell you from expirience that the first time you go somewhere in your uniform and have people randomly thanking you for serving your country and shaking your hand will be an eye opener for what you are doing. its a very respectable thing for just considering it. so best of luck!

Feelings for someone I am having casual with :(?

After reading a book or computer screen for about 5 minutes, I must stop because of eye pain - this has been happening for about two years. The most pain seems to be in the front of the eyes. Have seen a few eye doctors, but haven't identified the problem. Have tried prescription gles and contacts, blinking regularly, eye drops, eye exercises, medications, and different lighting. This not a dry eye problem, but could be related to menopause although hormones are in balance. Hoping for a solution.

I had a dream that I killed someone help?

I had a dream recently (no more then 7 minutes ago) about being in our new home and me family and friends were in it having a party. One of the guest was a guy I did not like sitting on his own in the other room (the house was not finished so the walls are see through) then I knew he was trying to kill me so I decided I'd kill him first. It started with me going into the old house and grabbing a shot barreled 4-10 and only had 5 rounds in it and 1 long round. I shot of 4 of the rounds just testing the rifle would work but it fell apart (the springs and joints fell out) so I ran in to grab the long one, I got in the door behind the guy trying to kill me for some odd unknown reason. He got up and walked over and grabbed a pool que, He looked at me while holding it like a weapon. So I dodged behind something and yelled "he's trying to kill me!" and my dad got up and approached him saying "I had a feeling that was what was going on" then the guy dropped the pool que as I approached him also and my dad was slowly making him walk. He picked up pool and threw them at me and said "oops one hit his eye" (it did not cause I blocked it) I dodged all of them and he got a little distance then I smacked him in the back and then got him to the floor and beat him like a slave (no offense) hit him in the crotch several times. I kept hitting him so much that he was crying his eyes out (he is like 6'5' and 19 so I was doing good for myself for only being 5'8' and 15) but anyway. as I was beating him its like I could feel an evil grin on my face. I was smiling with evil en tent and my eyes sharpened. I woke up a little after making the face while beating the guy and hit myself in the head because my muscles jerked and it felt like I was still beating the guy. My heads fine but what does all of this mean? :s

Why are my bowel movements painful and sometimes have blood?

While making a bowel movement I feel pain and I usually bleed. Its not a lot a blood, it's only a little on the paper or within my stool. This is usually everytime I go number 2. I don't feel any other pain when im not going its only when im actually going to the restroom. If you are completely unable to come out... The best advice I can give is what an Indian friend of mine did. Ok, a lot of people nowadays annoy me because they don't keep an open mind. I consider my self a Christian and i believe in God and everything, but people act like God is some perfect guy up there and that we have to pray constantly for forgiveness for even the most minor sins. Why is God perfect? I don't believe he is because he created an imperfect world, but it's not like that's a bad thing, in fact it's a WONDERFUL thing. If God were perfect, he would have made the world perfect. Every object you see would be perfectly symmetrical, you would only listen to one kind of music, everyone would look the same, or even if I'm invisioning it the wrong way, we still would not recognize the world and not enjoy it as much as we do now. Now, look at something like a tree. It's not symmetrical, it's branches are scraggly and bent, it's texture is rough and hard, but do you hate trees for their imperfection? No, the very design of a tree is extremely imperfect, but it's beautiful isn't it? And it's part of this world! This imperfect world that we take for granted so much. I'm not saying we SHOULDN'T worship God, but people are just having the wrong view about this, it's almost degrading to our entire human species to say we are sinners and should beg for forgiveness to God. We shouldn't waste our lives consuming ourselves in God and ONLY God. He would want us to live our lives for US and for those we love, and thank him for this glorious opportunity for life he has given us, our imperfect lives, but we find perfection in imperfection. People shouldn't go around thinking that God is the answer to everything and that we are all horrible sinners. For instance, why are some people vegetarians? Because they think it's wrong to eat other animals. But animals eat other animals in nature. Do you think God made animals the way they are just so he could send them to hell? I don't think so. Plus, imagine the vast universe, we are an infinitely small speck in the entire universe, and people don't realize often enough that our lives are virtually meaningless to the rest of the universe since we are such a small entity inside a much larger one, but God wouldn't have just put us here, a small needle in a mammoth haystack, for the heck of it, we are all here for a reason, and we should go throughout our day knowing that, and live to figure out why we are here rather than wasting our time asking God to forgive us for tiny little sins when in the vast universe, it does not matter. We are all part of the struggle to discover what all the universe is meant to achieve, and our sins are just experiences to learn from in future on our journey of discovery. That's where the phrase, "everything happens for a reason" comes into play. That it my belief, what is yours? Do you agree or disagree? Tell me your thoughts.

Both teams have strong defenses and both have had lapses during the season. Both teams have excellent QBs. The Steelers have a better running game. The Steelers have offensive line problems. The Packers have enough defense to pressure Roethlisberger, but he's experienced that for the past few years and been successful. I'd I'd like to see the Packers win, but think the Steelers are more likely. This is likely to be another low scoring game. It wouldn't be a huge surprise either way it turns out - the only thing that would surprise me is if it turns out to be a blow out. Since the Redskins aren't in the game I really don't have a strong preference; I'm leaning toward the Packers because it's been longer since they've won one, but I really like it to be a good game which ever way it turns out.

How do i make my download speed faster or make it stop disconnecting?

when i'm downloading stuff, the absolute max is less than 180kb/s. it's fastest speed normally is around ~150kb/s. most of the time is only 100kb/s or less. when i used the speedtest.net it says my download speed is 1.03 Mb/s, but I don't know what that means. Is that 1.03 megabytes a second or megabit?? I don't really know the difference. And when I test the speed on my PS3 download speed tester, it gets about 800kb/s. but when I actually download something it is only like 50-150kb/s. my router is the linksys wrt54gs, the blue one. my ISP is covad. and also, whenver I'm on something like AIM, i always get disconnected. I always get the AOL system message thing that tells me i'm logged on at 2 places, which means i got dced and reconnected again. and sometimes when I download stuff, it gets dced in the middle of it. how do i make the download speed faster and stop this dcing?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over 8 months now, and I knew he had some baggage when I got together with him in the beginning. He had 3 children already by 2 different women and he had recently parted ways with his ex when we met. I myself have 2 children from a previous relationship so I did not see that as a huge hurdle to jump, although I was wary about his involvement with his ex, since she was not the mother of any of his children and she would text him every now and then. I had suspicions before and questioned him about it maybe 2 months prior. So, yesterday he tells me he had been cheating on me for the past 3 months with her. He gave me the clic sob story of how he has fallen in love with me and he, being confused with his feelings for her and his new feelings for me made bad choices *Crap*. He said he didn't mean for it to happen, he wants to be with me, and he was sorry (you know the crap men dribble out of their mouths when they know they have stepped in it). Now, he told me this because (and only because) his ex is 8 weeks pregnant. We live in the same area and have acquaintances in common, so I would've eventually found out even if he didn't tell me. I pretty much refuse to continue a romantic relationship with him at this time because, although I do care about him, I can't see myself even trying to take him back after he has betrayed my trust like that(even this early in the relationship). Friday, I took a HPT and I happen to be pregnant too (about 4 weeks based on my LMP). I have not informed him of my condition yet, as I was so irate with him yesterday that I pretty much told him to kick rocks. But I am internally torn on whether or not I should terminate this pregnancy or if I should even tell him that I am pregnant if I decided to keep the child. I don't particularly want to become entangled in his mess for the rest of my life, but I am a bit ambivalent when it comes to the subject of abortion especially when it comes to a situation like this, after all it's not the child's fault. Where practically I can see an overwhelming benefit of cutting all ties I morally have an issue because I was raised Catholic and believe abortion is wrong. Honestly I see a whole lot of drama coming into my life no matter what I do. What would you do if you were going through this, and how would you handle it?
